Lesson Plan: Batas ng Demand at Supply

Grade Level: Senior High School

Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

  1. Define the law of demand and supply.
  2. Explain the factors that affect demand and supply.
  3. Analyze the relationship between demand and supply.
  4. Apply the law of demand and supply in real-life situations.

Materials:

  1. Whiteboard and markers
  2. Handouts
  3. PowerPoint presentation
  4. Laptop and projector

Procedure:

I. Introduction (5 minutes)

A. Greetings and checking of attendance B. Review of the previous lesson C. Motivation: Ask the students if they have ever experienced a situation where the price of a product suddenly increased or decreased. Ask them how they felt about it.

II. Lecture (20 minutes)

A. Definition of the law of demand and supply B. Factors that affect demand and supply C. Relationship between demand and supply D. Examples of the law of demand and supply in real-life situations

III. Activity (25 minutes)

A. Divide the class into two groups. B. Group 1 will be assigned to create a scenario where there is an increase in demand and a decrease in supply. Group 2 will be assigned to create a scenario where there is a decrease in demand and an increase in supply. C. Each group will present their scenario and explain the effects on the price and quantity of the product. D. The class will analyze the scenarios and discuss the relationship between demand and supply.

IV. Summary (5 minutes)

A. Recap of the lesson B. Answering of questions C. Assignment: Ask the students to research and write a short essay about the effects of government policies on the law of demand and supply.

V. Evaluation

A. The students will be evaluated based on their participation in the activity and their written essay.
