In terms of vehicle deployment, 7983 vehicles and 73 short and 21 long vehicles have been deployed in the field. Vehicle servicing and repair services are being planned in a timely and cost-effective manner. 87 vehicles have been brought into the contracted garage for servicing and repairs, and 84 vehicles have been repaired and taken out. 18 vehicles have been lightly repaired by the maintenance specialist under the work unit.

The vehicle and fuel usage system was strengthened at the beginning of the fiscal year. Calibration work was done on 3 vehicles and the normalization process was completed. The institution’s fuel consumption and maintenance costs are reported monthly to the Ministry of Finance, institution officials, and internal audit.

During the financial year, third party and full insurance for all vehicles for 2016 was renewed. Insurance covered Bolo restoration for 20 vehicles and minor property damage to 3 vehicles. The name transfer of 1 vehicle not in the institution’s name was completed, as well as the change of license plate and ownership name for 1 Land Cruiser. 6 out of the planned 10 vehicle removals for the 2015 fiscal year are currently being carried out.
