As the final whistle blew, the dark clouds above the stadium seemed to mirror the gloom that had descended upon Mr. Mausdley’s heart. The rain began to pour down heavily, as if the heavens themselves were weeping for his beloved Derby County’s defeat. Mr. Mausdley, a die-hard fan, couldn’t hold back his tears as he walked into the school building. The wind howled mournfully, as if echoing his sorrow, and the trees swayed in sympathy.
