Teaching Plan:

1. Introduction: (10 minutes) * Explain the concept of sustainability and why it is an important issue. * Show a presentation or videos illustrating the importance of sustainability.

2. Brainstorming: (15 minutes) * Ask the students to think of different ways to make their homes and schools more sustainable. * Give them a few minutes to brainstorm on their own, after which they can discuss their ideas in groups of three.

3. Discussion: (20 minutes) * Lead a whole class discussion on the different things that can be done to make our homes and schools more sustainable. * Some ideas could include using more energy-efficient appliances, using reusable products, reducing water usage, growing plants, and recycling.

4. Activity: (15 minutes) * Divide the class into four groups and have each group choose a sustainable measure to focus on. * Ask each group to brainstorm specific examples of how that measure could be implemented in their homes and schools. * Give them 10 minutes to complete the task and then have each group present their ideas to the class.

5. Conclusion: (10 minutes) * Come back together as a class and summarize the key points discussed. * Remind students of the importance of sustainability and how they can help contribute to it.
