Procedure: 1. Warm-up (5 minutes): - Begin the lesson by asking the students if they are familiar with advanced conditional forms such as mixed conditionals and inversion. - Write the idioms, phrases, words, and phrasal verbs on the board and ask the students if they know their meanings. Clarify any doubts if necessary.
- Introduction to Scenario Cards (5 minutes):
- Divide the students into pairs or small groups.
- Provide each group with a set of scenario cards (see below).
- Explain that each card contains a situation where they need to use advanced conditional forms and incorporate at least one idiom, phrase, word, or phrasal verb from the list.
- Encourage the students to read the scenarios and discuss the possible solutions using the target language and idioms.
- Group Discussion (15 minutes):
- Instruct the students to discuss the scenarios using the target language and idioms.
- Encourage them to support their opinions and decisions with reasons and examples.
- Monitor the groups and provide assistance as needed.
- After the discussion, ask each group to share their solutions and reasoning with the whole class.
- Wrap-up (5 minutes):
- Summarize the key points discussed during the group activity.
- Ask the students if they found the activity helpful in practicing advanced conditional forms and incorporating idioms.
- If time permits, show a relevant video from the internet that demonstrates the use of advanced conditional forms and idioms. Discuss the video briefly with the students.

Imagine you have a flash of inspiration for a new business idea. Discuss how you would go about turning it into a successful venture. 3. You have just received a half-baked proposal from a colleague. Discuss the potential risks and benefits of collaborating with them. 5. You are a manager of a struggling company. Discuss the steps you would take to turn the business around and make a killing in the market.
Note: Adapt the scenario cards as per the specific needs and interests of your students.
Optional: Find a video on the internet that demonstrates the use of advanced conditional forms and idioms. Show the video to the students and discuss it briefly.
