What is the late work policy? - 1st offense: Zero on the assignment if not completed within 5 days - Additional offenses: Write a SMART goal contract regarding work ethic and changes to be made - Work more than 5 school days late will receive a zero - Projects or presentations submitted/presented late will result in a 10% deduction from the grade

What is the Habits of Success assessment? - In addition to the academic grade, students will also earn a Habits of Success grade based on traits such as humor, leadership, integrity, respect, tenacity, and cooperation. A passing grade for Habits of Success is necessary to earn credit for the course.

What is the retake policy for summative assessments? - Students must show mastery/understanding in the related learning target before being allowed to retake or revise a summative assessment. A Classroom Revision/Retake Contract must be filled out and approved by the teacher, and formative or practice work agreed upon in the contract must be completed prior to the revision/retake.

What is the cell phone policy? - Student personal electronic devices are to be silenced and out of sight, except in the lunchroom. Devices are not allowed during assessments. Failure to follow the rules may result in a loss of Habits of Success points, student conference, and/or office referral.

What is the 1:1 Chromebook policy? - Students will have access to their own Chromebook throughout the school year and are responsible for charging it at home. Chromebooks cannot be left at school overnight and must be brought back and forth each day. Students must also follow district policy regarding acceptable use of technology.

Where will material be posted for students? - Google Classroom will be the main learning platform where material will be posted. Students are responsible for checking Google Classroom daily.
