The government has been actively involved in various international and continental legal matters. They have requested resources and prepared documents for intergovernmental agreements, such as the establishment of the African Court of Human and Peoples’ Rights. They have also participated in discussions and forums organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant authorities on topics such as intellectual property rights and migration affairs.

Furthermore, the government has responded to complaints and communications filed against Ethiopia by international organizations such as Legal Action Worldwide and the Pan African Lawyers Union. They have also requested information from relevant bodies to respond to communications regarding human rights violations against women in IDP shelters.

The government has actively participated in bilateral, continental, and international meetings and forums related to justice and legal affairs. They have attended meetings of the African Union, the Human Rights Council, and bilateral ministerial joint commissions. They have also participated in side forums and preparatory discussions to enhance cooperation with other countries and international organizations.

Efforts have been made to increase the respect and enforcement of human rights, including the inclusion of human rights in the education system and training programs for judicial institutions. The government has also signed international agreements and conducted media campaigns and awareness-raising activities. They have exchanged experiences with other countries, such as Kenya and Uganda, on business and human rights issues.

Overall, the government has been actively engaged in various legal and international matters, working towards the promotion and protection of human rights and justice.
