The satisfaction level regarding the service provided by the directorate is 100%. The employees are grateful for the sincerity and prompt service. The directorate has been able to work in cooperation and coordination with various departments, lawyers, regional lawyers’ associations, and other relevant parties. They have successfully planned and implemented initiatives related to women, children, and multi-sectoral issues. The directorate has also created a comfortable working environment and space for disabled employees and customers.

In terms of licensing, there were 623 new license applicants who met the requirements for a lawyer’s license. Out of these, 381 applicants were granted a lawyer’s license after submitting relevant evidence. The remaining 242 applicants were not allowed to receive a lawyer’s license, either due to not submitting their resignations or other evidence. This process has resulted in high satisfaction among the applicants.

The directorate has also announced the requirements, registration place, and examination period for obtaining a lawyer’s license through examination. They have accepted applicants for the lawyer’s license exam and registered those who meet the requirements. The exam was conducted on October 3, 2016, and the results have been communicated to the examinees.

Regarding the establishment of advocacy organizations, 7 out of the applicants who met the requirements were granted permission. The directorate has also provided renewal services to 2,366 federal court attorneys, ensuring that all those who meet the criteria have their licenses renewed.

There have been 24 requests for a lawyer’s license to be placed in trust, with 23 requests from lawyers from any court and 1 request from the court of first instance. All those who met the criteria have had their licenses placed in trust.

In terms of returning attorney’s licenses placed in trust, all 2009 applicants who met the requirements had their licenses returned. Additionally, 3 attorneys of any court who requested the permanent return of their law license also had their licenses returned.

The directorate has successfully registered the secretary of legal affairs and lawyer’s assistants who met the requirements. They have also monitored lawyers at their place of work and during court hearings to ensure compliance with the code of conduct.

Regarding disciplinary charges, there were 57 records in the hands of the Assembly last fiscal year, and 124 newly submitted records. Out of the total 181 records, 153 received a decision and reached the working process. Of these, 92 were found guilty, resulting in fines, suspensions, warnings, dismissals, or case closures.

The directorate has provided substitute attorney license books to 104 lawyers who met the requirements. They have also successfully handled requests from other institutions related to work experience, ethics, transfer of address, and decision copies.

Efforts have been made to increase access to justice services, with a focus on providing free legal services to women, the elderly, the disabled, youth, and children. The directorate has allocated 100% of lawyers to serve those who meet the criteria.

Overall, the directorate has achieved a satisfaction level of 100% in providing its services.
