Once upon a time in the fair city of Verona, two noble families lived in perfect harmony. These families were the Montagues and the Capulets.

The members of these two worshiper families had never stopped their long-standing rivalry. But their children, young Romeo and Juliet, had no memory of the feud and even less knowledge of it.

Although both from prestigious families, Romeo and Juliet had never seen each other until one fateful day at the Capulet’s masquerade ball. As Romeo passed the beautiful Juliet, he fell instantly in love. The two of them talked together for the duration of the night and slowly their love blossomed.

Unbeknownst to the two lovers, Juliet’s parents had already arranged her marriage to the nobleman Paris. Juliet was devastated when she found out, and being only a young girl, she was too frightened to go against her parent’s wishes.

Romeo, being a true romantic, was determined to be with Juliet no matter what. He turned to the friar for help and with the Friar’s support, he and Juliet devised a plan to be married secretly.

On the night of their secret wedding, Romeo was ecstatic. But fate had different plans, and their happiness was short-lived. The next morning, Romeo was banished from Verona, and Juliet was forced to marry Paris.

In a tragic turn of events, Romeo and Juliet soon discovered the other’s plan and both ingested a deadly poison in hopes of reuniting in the afterlife. Fortunately, Romeo made it in time for Juliet’s awakening and the two of them were reunited for a final embrace.

Unfortunately, it was too late. Romeo and Juliet had both succumbed to the poison, and their families were devastated by the tragic news. With the death of the two young lovers, the families finally reconciled and forever ended their long-standing rivalry.
