  1. Adjective Identification: Provide a list of sentences and ask students to identify the adjectives in each sentence. For example: “The big, red apple fell from the tree.” Students would identify “big” and “red” as the adjectives.

  2. Adjective Order: Give students a list of adjectives and ask them to put them in the correct order before a noun. For example: “beautiful, old, wooden, round table.” Students would rearrange the adjectives to say “beautiful, round, old, wooden table.”

  3. Adjective Comparison: Provide a list of adjectives and ask students to write the comparative and superlative forms of each adjective. For example: “happy - happier - happiest.”

  8. Adjective Placement: Give students a list of sentences with misplaced adjectives and ask them to rewrite the sentences with the adjectives in the correct position. For example: “She has beautiful, long, brown hair.” Students would rewrite the sentence as “She has long, brown, beautiful hair.”

  9. Adjective Clauses: Provide sentences with adjective clauses and ask students to identify the adjective clause and the noun it modifies. For example: “The book that I borrowed from the library is very interesting.” Students would identify “that I borrowed from the library” as the adjective clause modifying the noun “book.”

  10. Adjective Word Search: Create a word search puzzle with various adjectives hidden in the grid. Students would have to find and circle the adjectives within the puzzle.
