Today is a day that I will never forget, they day that changed the course of my life forever.

I just arrived in Venice and this place is like something out of a fairy-tale. The city is surrounded by water and the canals provide such an interesting way to get around. The air is so fresh and the people seem so friendly.

I quickly found a place to stay near the market square, where I was welcomed by the owners; a friendly married couple, whose hospitality was much appreciated. Apparently I’m not the only one in the house, as rumored by other strangers in the city, there are a group of juvenile delinquents living nearby, who are notorious for thievery.

Unfortunately, I still haven’t found a way to make enough money to survive to the city, so I’m afraid I’m going to be stuck here for a while. I just hope that I can find a way to make it worth my stay.

The conditions are tough but I’m determined to make it work. No matter what, I can’t seem to shake off the feeling of excitement that I feel in this amazing city. I’ve got a feeling that good things are coming.
