- Conclude the lesson by reminding students to always seek adult supervision when dealing with electricity.
Extension Activity (optional): - If time permits, set up a small demonstration using an extension cord and a lamp to show students how electricity flows from the outlet to the lamp when it is turned on. - Allow students to take turns plugging and unplugging the lamp (with adult supervision) to reinforce the concept of electrical safety.
Assessment: - Informally assess students’ understanding throughout the lesson by asking questions and observing their participation. - Use the extension activity as an opportunity to assess students’ comprehension and ability to apply the concepts learned.
Note: Ensure that all electrical demonstrations and activities are conducted under adult supervision to ensure safety.
