I am extremely excited to be applying for the role of Year 2 teacher in your school. I am confident in my ability to deliver an enriched and engaging learning experience for your students.

I have four years of experience working as a primary school teacher, specialising in year 2. During this time, I have cultivated a comprehensive repertoire of teaching approaches and classroom-management methods that I believe will prove invaluable to your students.

I have extensive experience using the Power Maths curriculum to engage and excite pupils. Drawing on this experience, I am confident in my ability to devise differentiated activities that support the development of both the average student and those with special educational needs (SEND). I firmly subscribe to the Kahan structures of learning, believing that pupils learn best through creative and interactive tasks that promote cognitive development and critical thinking.

I am committed to teaching that is both enjoyable and productive. In addition to my primary school qualifications, I hold a Degree in Education as well as a Masters in Cognitive Science, both of which I believe enable me to bring a unique and valuable perspective to the role.
