James’ Report Card

English: James is a confident reader and is beginning to write simple sentences. He is able to identify and sound out most of the letters of the alphabet.

Maths: James is able to count to 100 and is beginning to understand basic addition and subtraction. He is able to identify and name shapes.

Science: James is beginning to understand the basic concepts of science and is able to identify and name different animals.

Social Studies: James is beginning to understand the concept of community and is able to identify different countries on a map.

Art: James is able to use a variety of materials to create art and is beginning to understand the concept of colour and texture.

Physical Education: James is able to participate in physical activities and is beginning to understand the importance of physical fitness.

Overall: James is a confident and enthusiastic learner who is making good progress in all areas.
