Activity 4: Flashcard Game (10 minutes):

  • Show the students flashcards with different rhythms and beats.
  • Have the students clap or tap the rhythm or beat on their rhythm sticks or drums.
  • Gradually increase the complexity of the rhythms and beats.

Conclusion (5 minutes):

  • Review the concepts of rhythm and beat.
