As a Viking in Norway, I have a very interesting life! My day-to-day life includes a lot of activities and food.
For breakfast, I usually have a bowl of porridge with honey and butter, a slice of cheese and some fruit. I often start my day by fishing for my lunch. I use a spear to catch my fish, and I’ll also collect wild plants, such as nettles and wild berries.
For lunch, I usually have a hearty fish stew with potatoes, onions, and fresh herbs. I also enjoy eating root vegetables, such as carrots, turnips, and beets as a side dish.
In the afternoon, I work on different projects at home. I like to make tools out of wood, such as axes and spears. I also repair things like boats, clothing and furniture.
For dinner, I usually cook some meat and vegetables. I usually eat lamb, beef or deer, along with potatoes and turnips. I also enjoy having some fresh bread with butter and cheese.
Before bed, I like to tell stories around a campfire and sing old Viking songs.
I like to wear bright, colorful clothes and jewelry made from leather and metal. I wear an apron and a tunic over a shirt, trousers, and leather boots. I also wear a woolen cloak for colder weather.
I hope you all have learned a lot about my life, and maybe you’ll all want to come to Norway and become a Viking like me!
