Terms of Service

Introduction

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Teacherbot platform and services (“Services”) provided by Teacherbot (“us”, “we”, or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

Service Description

The Services provide a platform for teachers to create and manage educational content and resources. The Services also include features such as analytics and reporting to track student engagement and progress.

Use of Services

In order to use the Services, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Upload, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party;
  • Harm minors in any way;
  • Upload, transmit, or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, or any other form of solicitation;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks connected to the Services;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Services, through hacking, password mining, or any other means;
  • Engage in any activity that could harm the Services or its users;
  • Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Ownership

The Services and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by Teacherbot, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal and non-commercial use. You agree not to use, copy, adapt, modify, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, license, sell, transfer, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, stream, broadcast, or otherwise exploit the Services, except as expressly permitted in these Terms. No licenses or rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise under any intellectual property rights owned or controlled by Teacherbot or its licensors, except for the licenses and rights expressly granted in these Terms.

Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, effective upon the posting of the modified Terms. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of the modified Terms will constitute your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

Warranties and Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Services or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Services.

Teacherbot does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, and Teacherbot will not be liable for any interruptions or errors.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Teacherbot, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will Teacherbot, its affiliates, licensors, or service providers, or any of its or their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, or assigns, be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, or use, or similar damages, whether in an action in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising out of your access to, or use of, the Services or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Services.

Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Teacherbot with respect to the use of the Services. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.

These Terms and your use of the Services are governed under Scottish law. We each agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
